Val Thorens Inter-Semester Break Trip

Ask anyone who has been on one of our previous ski trips and we think they will agree - they're always an amazing week! Last year we took 300 people to Val D'Isere at Christmas and a further 150 to Les Arcs at Easter with both trips being an immense success!

Our main trip of the year is to Val Thorens during the Inter-Semester Break, where we will take another 300 Bath students for one week of snow and partying! Use the links above to read all about the trip.

General Trip Information

After the last of the January exams, Bath Snowsports is heading out to Val Thorens for a week of sun, snow and partying the likes of which you have never seen! We take an overnight coach journey to resort, arriving on Saturday afternoon. There are special nights organised at different venues every night, always accompanied by some ridiculous fancy dress themes that will get your fashion senses flowing!

It's not all about the awesome apres-ski though, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe (at an altitude of 2300m) ensuring brilliant snow conditions, with skiing up to 3200m! Val Thorens alone provides 140km of pistes, but with the additional 3 Valleys lift pass, this is extended to an amazing 600km! Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned rider there are areas that suit your style. Lessons can be organised when booking the trip so if you’re a little rusty (or haven’t had a chance to come to our training!) there are loads of opportunities to brush up on your skills!

Packages start from just £399, which is a bargain for an amazing week (less than half the price of a similar holiday, if booked via a travel agent, to VT that doesn't include all our fancy extras)! This price includes all transport, 6 nights accommodation, 6 day Val Thorens lift pass (which may be upgraded to the full 3 Valleys pass for £49) and daily breakfast packs (including cereal, chocolate spread, jam and fresh baguettes!). There are options available for lessons, equipment hire, and insurance when booking the trip, so everything can be taken care of in one simple booking!
